Daquan Youngblood had 14 points to lead Ford to a 40-39 win over Poly Prep in non-league boys basketball Wednesday in Bay Ridge. Josh Blagrove added seven points for the Falcons (1-1), who fell Sunday to Bronx Science of PSAL Class A. Poly Prep is 1-1.
Riverdale 59, Trevor Day School 36: Josh Wetzler had 17 points and nine rebounds while Russell Johnson and Tom Ryan added 12 points apiece for Riverdale (2-0) in non-league.
Columbia Prep 73, Horace Mann 67: Brian Lissak poured in 38 points and added eight steals, Matt Fascitelli scored 12 points and Tonio Vassilaros grabbed 13 rebounds for Columbia Prep (4-0) in non-league.
