Iona Prep picked up a bounce-back win in a big way.
Rich Crews had 14 points and Felix Abongo added 12 points to lead Iona to a 66-30 win over St. John’s Prep in CHSAA Class A boys basketball Monday in New Rochelle. On Saturday, the Gaels fell to neighborhood rival New Rochelle, 51-40.
Jack Fay had 11 points and Ryan Corley had 10 points for Iona (17-3, 11-1 ‘A’). Marlon Alcindor had 12 points for St. John’s Prep (2-15, 0-5).

Staten Island Academy 58, Berkeley Carroll 49: Alex Morisano scored 16 points, James Morisano followed with 12 and Lionel Greene and Matthew Smarsch each followed with nine apiece for Staten Island Academy (12-6, 8-5), which faces Bay Ridge Prep Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. Berkeley Carroll is now 13-7 overall and 8-4 in the ACIS. The Lions meet Friends Seminary Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Berkeley Carroll 59, UNIS 25: Ian Miller scored 20 points, Jasper Kitchen finished with 16 points, Will Reagen had 11 points Shane Perley had 10 points, seven assists and six rebounds and Dondre Benson had five assists and five rebounds for Berkeley Carroll.
