CONCUSSIONKOS ERIC
PHILADELPHIA — The Lindros Concussion Curse has reared its head again.
Flyer captain Eric Lindros sat out with his third career concussion last night against the Devils. Although it was described as a slight concussion, a scare rippled through the Flyer organization, well aware that his brother Brett Lindros retired from repeated concussions.
Team physician Dr. Gary Dorshimer said Lindros would miss “at least a week.”
“It’s a mild, Grade 2 concussion,” Dorshimer said. “He had some nausea, headache and vomiting [Friday], but he was able to get a decent night’s sleep. He was a little foggy today with a little nausea and a little headache.”
