Conor McGregor’s cellphone victim is talking, and he says the UFC star tricked him, according to an interview with TMZ Sports.

Ahmed Abdirzak, from the United Kingdom, was vacationing in Miami when he took a photo of the UFC superstar leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel, he said. McGregor approached him and offered a handshake. It was a trick.

“As soon as he come shake my hand, he pulled me in,” Abdirzak said. “And he grabbed my phone and started smashing it. And all his security guards literally surrounded me, pushed me out of the way.”

He said McGregor stomped on the phone, then put in his pocket and left.

McGregor was arrested Monday on strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief charges. Abdirzak said he had a video he is planning to release soon about the incident.
