The Giants used the Cowboys as a springboard to a Super Bowl title, beating their NFC East rivals twice in the final four weeks of the season to win the NFC East.
But Cowboys owner Jerry Jones apparently does not expect a similar result this season. Jones, trying pump up the team’s fans at a training camp in Oxnard, Calif. said, “Y’all should come to Cowboys Stadium and watch us beat the Giants’ asses.”
The Giants and Cowboys open the season against each other on Sept. 5, but that game will be in MetLife Stadium. The Giants’ trip to Dallas comes in Week 8.
Jones also went on a curious rant about “glory holes,” which had to be explained by the Cowboys PR Director.
