When College of Staten Island center Courtney Aimetti helped the Dolphins to the CUNYAC championship as a junior, she figured it would be her last title.

“I didn’t think we would get back here,” Aimetti said. “I thought we could, but that our inexperience would hinder us.”

It didn’t. Aimetti, CSI’s only senior, scored 21 points and grabbed 24 rebounds to lead the Dolphins to an 83-70 victory over top-seeded Hunter last night at CCNY.

It was the second straight year that CSI knocked off Hunter in the championship game to advance to the Div. III NCAA Tournament.
