Don’t come between Danica Patrick and her fur babies.

The former race car driver, 39, showed off some battle scars on her Instagram story after rescuing one of her pups from coyotes. Patrick, who has two dogs – a Belgian Malinois named Ella and a Siberian Husky, Dallas — did not share which pup was attacked.

Patrick managed to walk away with what appeared to be minor cuts and bruises on her face, neck, legs and arms after the attack. Nonetheless, her injuries looked pretty painful, according to screenshots shared by Awesemo.com.

“Mom coming in hot to save my baby from the coyotes,” she wrote over a since-expired image that showed her legs and arms covered in scratches.

“You should see my face! I’m looking for you coyotes. In the meantime the tree branches found my face,” Patrick added over a closeup photo that captured a bruise near her left eye, as well as a mark on her neck.

The “Pretty Intense” podcast host raised eyebrows earlier this month when she made her romance with Carter Comstock Instagram official.

Patrick dated Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for two years before they split in July 2020. He has since moved on with actress Shailene Woodley, and they announced their engagement in early February.

Comstock, who is the cofounder of Freshly, a meal-prep company, made his first appearance on Patrick’s social media on April 16.

“Beach workouts are fun for one, but better with you…,” she captioned the post, which included a selfie of her getting a kiss on the cheek from Comstock.

Though, the entrepreneur wasn’t believed to be present for Patrick’s coyote debacle.
