What’s wrong with the Lakers? According to coach Mike D’Antoni, the answer is everything.

“We have too many issues,” D’Antoni said following the Laker’s latest loss, a 108-103 defeat to the lowly Raptors, which dropped their record to 17-23 and 12th place in the Western Conference.

The Raptors took an 11-2 lead, and the Lakers looked sluggish the entire game. D’Antoni was clearly not happy with his teams effort, and the team dropped to 5-13 on the road.

The Lakers were one of the favorites to win the NBA title in the preseason, but a injuries and a 1-4 start have perhaps derailed their chances of making the playoffs. D’Anotni, the former Knicks coach, took over after Mike Brown was fired, and has a 12-18 coaching record this season. After winning is debut, D’Antoni said, “With this team, there’s no reason not to win every game.”

Clearly the Lakers have found ways not to win every game.
