Before hitting the ice with the Philadelphia Flyers in the nation’s capital Sunday afternoon, the former Rangers defenseman enjoyed some quality time with Kacie McDonnell, the former fiancee of Chiefs backup QB Aaron Murray. McDonnell used to work at Fox29 in Philadelphia before moving to Kansas City with Murray after he was drafted.
McDonnell posted the snap of her, Del Zotto and a gal pal to Instagram on Friday, before taking it down. (But not before Philadelphia blog Crossing Broad saved it.) And while the photo is innocent, to say the least, the comments aimed at Del Zotto may have taken their toll on her feed.
It wouldn’t be the first time Del Zotto’s ego took a beating in the social sphere. Last November, adult film star (and one-time Del Zotto fling) Lisa Ann publicly shamed him on Twitter after being asked to play Cupid one too many times by the NHL vet.
It’s highly doubtful Lisa Ann used her matchmaking skills this time around.
