Toronto slugger Carlos Delgado, making an anti-war protest, hasn’t been standing for “God Bless America,” which has been made public of late.

“I don’t think that would be received kindly, because it’s become public,” Joe Torre said. “Nobody would notice otherwise.”

Some fans yelled derogatory comments during what was supposed to be a moment of silence at the seventh-inning stretch, even though Delgado wasn’t out on the field. He was replaced by Josh Phelps for the bottom of the seventh.
