Former Knicks coach Derek Fisher has been officially charged with two counts of drunk driving stemming from his June 4 crash on a Los Angeles Freeway, according to a report.
Fisher, 42, was driving with girlfriend Gloria Govan – in a Cadillac Escalade registered to her husband and long-time Fisher nemesis, Matt Barnes – when the athlete lost control and the car spun on its roof and slid across several lanes of the 101 Freeway.
Although Fisher was immediately cuffed after the accident – miraculously, no one was injured – TMZ reported Sunday he was finally charged with two counts and faces up to six months in jail.
It was Govan who called 911 to report the crash. She was heard on the recording saying everything was fine and under control.
