A breakdown of the needs of every team heading into the NFL draft, which starts tonight at Radio City Music Hall:

NFC EAST

COWBOYS: OL, S, CB

Which was more atrocious last year: The offensive line or the secondary? Jason Garrett needs help on both units if he’s to succeed.

EAGLES: CB, OT, DE

As good as he is, All-Pro defensive back Asante Samuel can’t cover everyone.

GIANTS: OL, LB, RB

Age and injuries have taken their toll on a once-proud offensive line. Also need impact talent at linebacker.

REDSKINS: QB, RB, NT

Hardly been a smooth transition in D.C. Huge holes mean Mike Shanahan has a mountainous task still ahead.

NFC NORTH

BEARS: OL, DT, RB

If the Bears don’t get some offensive line help, QB Jay Cutler will really have a reason to sit out.

LIONS: OLB, CB, S

Jim Schwartz, a former defensive coordinator, still has much to do on that side of the ball.

PACKERS: RB, OT, WR

They are defending champs, but the talent level on offense needs to rise to the quality of QB Aaron Rodgers.

VIKINGS: QB, S, WR

Donovan McNabb looks like he’ll be the 2011 starter at QB, but the future needs addressing, too.

NFC SOUTH

BUCCANEERS: DE, LB, OL

Tampa Bay was one of the great surprises of 2010, but they mustered just 26 sacks last season.

FALCONS: WR, DE, RB

Pass-catchers a must because Roddy White can’t do it all by himself for QB Matt Ryan.

PANTHERS: QB, DT, TE

Questions abound about Cam Newton, but a team couldn’t possibly need a quarterback more than Carolina.

SAINTS: DT, LB, S

The defensive interior looked thin and very soft last season as the Saints failed in quest to repeat as champs.

NFC WEST

49ERS: QB, CB, OLB

No team — by a mile — has a bigger hole at quarterback, but they can’t afford to make another Alex Smith mistake.

CARDINALS: QB, ILB, OLB

Arizona isn’t ready to trust Fordham product John Skelton just yet at quarterback, but could wait until free agency to get a veteran.

RAMS: WR, S, RB

Someone to stretch the field for quarterback Sam Bradford is mandatory.

SEAHAWKS: DE, WR, CB

Seattle relied far too much on the blitz; capable pass-rusher wanted.

AFC EAST

BILLS: QB, NT, LB

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is gutsy, but nothing more than a highly educated stopgap. Can’t afford to mess up this opportunity.

DOLPHINS: QB, C, WR

Miami had to put out an APB on quarterback Chad Henne’s game last year.

JETS: OLB, DE, CB

An impact pass rusher would look mighty good here, and don’t put it past GM Mike Tannebaum to make the moves to get one.

PATRIOTS: OL, WR, LB

Bill Belichick has stockpiled six picks in first three rounds (including two in first) and that means protection and a deep threat for QB Tom Brady.

AFC NORTH

BENGALS: QB, WR, S

It may be painful, but Cincy should accept reality and look for Carson Palmer’s QB replacement.

BROWNS: WR, DE, OLB

QB Colt McCoy, a third-round steal last year, looks like a keeper. Give this man some targets! Hello, Julio Jones? A.J. Green?

RAVENS: LT, WR, DE

The Ravens should be looking for an upgrade because Michael Oher owns “The Blind Side” only in the movies.

STEELERS: OL, CB, DL

Aside from center Maurkice Pouncey, offensive line was a train wreck.

AFC SOUTH

COLTS: OL, WR, CB, S

Indy has to get Reggie Wayne some help that can also stay on the field.

JAGUARS: DE, LB, S

If Jack Del Rio is supposedly such a defensive coach, why does the defense need so much help?

TEXANS: CB, NT, S

The league’s worst defense — by far — will be addressed. Repeatedly.

TITANS: QB, DT, LB

Jeff Fisher’s gone, and now is the time to atone for the Vince Young mistake at QB.

AFC WEST

BRONCOS: DT, ILB, S

New coach John Fox has no choice but to put a premium on defense.

CHARGERS: DE, LB, S

Despite No. 1 overall ranking in defense, holes need to be filled as Chargers don’t have a game-changer.

CHIEFS: OL, WR, NT

Kansas City’s offensive line’s interior is ancient, and playmakers are in short supply.

RAIDERS: CB, OL, TE

All-world DB Nnamdi Asomugha’s likely departure will leave a gigantic hole at cornerback for team on the come.
