LOWDOWN: Changing Skies, beaten a head last out in the Grade 1 Flower Bowl over the Belmont turf, would have been a legitimate threat if she had run in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf. Two starts back, she romped going this distance in the Waya on turf at Saratoga.

LOWDOWN: Mystic is trained by Hall-of-Fame Bill Mott, the winningest trainer in Churchill history. Mystic, a son of Unbridled’s Song has won three of his last five starts, and is the only horse in this field with a victory over the Churchill turf course.

LOWDOWN: Treat Gently is a mare that battled through the stretch with the boys in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic at Belmont and settled four fourth at 11-1. She owns graded-stakes wins this year going 13⁄8 miles on turf in the Sheepshead Bay and R.G. Dick Memorial, and has a ton of back class, having run very well two years ago in the French Group 1 Prix Vermeille and Prix de l’Opera.
