During the Foxes game against Crystal Palace on Saturday, James McArthur accidentally bowled into Pearson on the sideline. As McArthur lay on the ground, the 51-year-old Pearson placed both his hands against the midfielder’s throat as the two briefly talked.

Pearson tried to downplay the incident, but his damage control apparently was not good enough.

“Because he said something to me,” was Pearson’s brief explanation when asked about the contact. “I don’t have to reveal anything, do I? I’m more than capable of looking after myself.”
