Students at Louisiana State witnessed a scary scene that unfolded at the school’s campus on Monday.
The LSU Police Department was called to Tiger Stadium on Monday afternoon for reports of a disturbance, where a woman said former Indiana defensive tackle Ralph Green III allegedly followed her into the football team’s locker room. He cornered another witness, assaulted him and threatened to kill him, WBRZ reported, citing arrest documents.
Upon arrival, LSUPD said Green was “immediately irate” and did not comply with several verbal commands. Officers reportedly used department-issued Tasers and first responders were called to assist.
Green also claimed that he was the reason that LSU won the 2019 national championship, according to witnesses.
Green was arrested and booked on eight assault-related charges, including unauthorized entry, public intimidation and battery of a police officer. He is listed as still in the custody of of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department.
In video footage posted by LSU Tiger TV, Green can be seen on the ground in handcuffs outside of Tiger Stadium, surrounded by police and security. Green allegedly slapped the handcuffs away and spat on multiple officers.

Ralph Green was arrested and booked on several assault-related charges after breaking into the LSU football team’s locker room on September, 26, 2022. LSU Tiger TVGreen then allegedly kicked at EMTs while being loaded onto a stretcher, causing one of them to bleed. LSUPD reported a second stun gun deployment at the hospital, where Green reportedly continued to spit on medical staff members.
According to a report by The Daily Hoosier, Green was charged in 2015 while at Indiana with battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The battery and public intoxication charges were later dismissed. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and he served a one-year probation and did 50 hours of community service.
