Scandal-scarred ex-University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore was officially charged with home invasion, stalking and related counts Friday — two days after he was taken into custody amid his unceremonious dismissal from the storied program.
The 39-year-old married father of three was charged with third-degree home invasion, a felony, as well as stalking and breaking and entering, which are both misdemeanors, according to a criminal complaint.
He appeared virtually in court in all-white jail garb for his arraignment on Friday afternoon, where he spoke very little, answering questions with, “Yes, your honor.”

Getty ImagesThe charges stem from Moore allegedly breaking into the home of his executive assistant and lover, Paige Shiver, on Wednesday, where he grabbed butter knives and kitchen scissors and threatened to harm himself.
The 32-year-old had ended the illicit relationship with her boss just two days before, prosecutor Kati Rezmierski said at his arraignment.
But Moore, a married father of three, allegedly continued to call and text her, despite her efforts to ignore him, she added.
She then reported the affair to the athletic department, which led to his explosive termination on Wednesday.
Moore could face five years in prison if convicted of the top home invasion count.
His bond was set at $25,000 and he was given a host of conditions for his release, including a GPS monitor and no contact with the alleged victim. His next court date is January 22.
In dispatch audio obtained by The Post and other outlets, a female caller — since confirmed to be Shiver — claimed Moore was “attacking her” and that he had “been stalking her for months.”

The University of Michigan did not name the staffer in the announcement, but it has since been confirmed to be Shiver.
Prosecutors revealed at Moore’s arraignment that the 911 call was made by the victim, who had broken up with the disgraced football coach on Monday. The narrative confirmed that Shiver was the staffer with whom he had an affair.
Moore had been leading the team for about two years, and still had the Citrus Bowl against the University of Texas ahead of him on New Year’s Eve.
