George Mason coach Jim Larranaga is meeting with his players Thursday night, a strong sign he is leaving to take the head coaching job at Miami, a source told The Post.

Larranaga, a Bronx native, led George Mason to the 2006 Final Four and this year led the Patriots to a first-round win over Villanova before losing to No. 1 seed Ohio State.

Larranaga played at Archbishop Molloy then Providence. He compiled a 273-164 record at George Mason and an overall college coaching mark of 470-334.

He would replace Frank Haith, who left Miami for Missouri.
