Georgia’s Prather Hudson is ready to make amends after knocking down ESPN’s Laura Rutledge.
After the Bulldogs running back and an opponent wrestled each other out of bounds during Saturday’s game against UMass and hit Rutledge, Hudson took to Twitter to apologize.
“Hey @LauraMRutledge really sorry I knocked you down, but … I can pick you up at 7,” he shot to Rutledge, who replied with a laughing emoji.
Unfortunately for Hudson, Rutledge married her husband, Josh, in 2013.
As for her current state, Rutledge appears to have overcome her ruff weekend, which began during the pregame show, when Georgia’s mascot, Uga X, dragged her as she held on with a leash.
“Took an L in Athens today. So many thanks to everyone at @UGAAthletics for their help after this happened … even though I’m a Gator,” she tweeted.
