After the ugly bottle-throwing incident in Cleveland and, to a lesser extent, the bottle-throwing outbreak in New Orleans on Monday night, there will no longer be any plastic bottles at Giants Stadium.
The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority announced yesterday that it will no longer sell drinks in plastic bottles during games at Giants Stadium.
Starting with Sunday’s Giants-Seahawks game, beer, soda and water will be poured into plastic cups instead of being sold in bottles. The NJSEA will further evaluate the new policy in the offseason.
