Joe Louis Barrow Jr., son of the former heavyweight boxing champ and chief executive officer of The First Tee, a youth development organization that fosters the growth of junior golf, will receive the Gold Tee Award when the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association holds its 59th National Awards Dinner on June 8 at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown.
