Aaron Baddeley has three days to find a new putter.
The Australian golfer’s putter was somehow either broken or went missing — no one seems to know yet — and he played the final four holes of the Deutsche Bank Championship using his wedge on the greens.
The situation nearly cost him a spot in next week’s BMW Championship. Only the top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup standing advancing to the next tournament. Baddeley made a 12-foot par putt with his wedge on 18 that finished his 4-over-par round Monday, good enough to finish tied for 67th in the tournament and keep him in 67th place in the FedEx Cup standings.
