Longtime golf instructor Hank Haney sued the PGA Tour on Wednesday, alleging the organization “improperly intimidated, enticed and threatened SiriusXM Radio” in order to have the radio host fired because of his shaky history with Tiger Woods.

Haney, 64, was suspended from his SiriusXM radio show earlier in the year after making disparaging comments about Korean LPGA Tour players as well as women’s golf in general.

“I’m gonna predict a Korean [to win the U.S. Women’s Open],” Haney said. “… That’s gonna be my prediction. I couldn’t name you, like, six players on the LPGA Tour.”

Haney, who apologized for his comments later in the show, officially lost his job following an outpouring of criticism, including from his former mentee Woods.

The lawsuit, according to ESPN, claims Haney was axed because the Tour wanted to “settle an old score relating to professional golfer Tiger Woods,” which likely refers to Haney’s revealing book, “The Big Miss,” which shared details about Woods’ controversial private life.

Haney coached Woods from 2004 to 2010. Woods won six major championships and 31 PGA Tour titles over that span.

In the lawsuit, Haney claims the Tour had “long attempted to disrupt and interfere in Haney’s business” since his book was released in 2012.
