Ah yes, the sweet taste of success.

Hours after sealing his first ever British Open victory, Jordan Spieth celebrated in championship fashion by enjoying an elixir from the Claret Jug, which pal and fellow golfer Justin Thomas documented Sunday on Snapchat.

Though Spieth likely spent much of the evening celebrating, it seems he let the Claret Jug out of his sight at one point in the night, as Rickie Fowler also featured the prize possession on social media as well.

This isn’t the first time Spieth has taken a swig from the Claret Jug. Following his loss to Zach Johnson two years ago, he chugged his sorrows away on a private plane.

After briefly losing his three-shot lead in the final round of the British Open by bogeying the 13th, Spieth rallied to score the third major title of his career.
