The rumors of Tiger Woods’ length appear to be real.
Woods recently touted how far he is hitting the ball in advance of his return to competitive golf, which will come at the Hero World Challenge on Nov. 30.
“One of the things I am actually surprised at since I’ve gotten the OK to start hitting my irons is I can’t believe how far I’m hitting it,” Woods said during a recent podcast with Geno Auriemma. “I’m back to hitting it my full numbers, and not really trying to do that. I didn’t realize how far I had dropped off because of the pain in my back.”
Rickie Fowler has played with Woods recently and confirmed to Golf Magazine that despite Woods’ slew of back surgeries and a revamped swing, it is not an exaggeration.
“Oh yeah, way by,” Fowler said when asked by Golf Magazine if Woods is driving it past him.
Fowler averages 299 yards off the tee.
