Rickie Fowler fell one shot short of capturing the coveted green jacket at the Masters on Sunday, but longtime girlfriend Allison Stokke has his back regardless of the end result.

After Patrick Reed captured the title, Stokke, 29, a track and field star, took to Instagram to praise her beau’s performance at Augusta.

“What. A. Week. So proud to stand alongside this man! 💚,” Stokke posted, as she posed alongside Fowler, also 29, in caddie gear from Wednesday’s par-3 contest.

“I gave it my all,” Fowler said Sunday. “I left everything out there on the golf course. I was just a little too far back. It would have been nice to have a few more [birdies] coming in, but we did everything we could. Patrick went out there and outplayed all of us this week and he earned it.”

Fowler, who closed with an impressive 67 on Sunday, and Stokke still have much to celebrate, as the couple are going on nearly a year of dating.

“This last year has been nothing but the best! My best friend, sprint coach, training partner…I’ll be your sous chef any day! Thanks for being you! To many more!” Fowler gushed on Valentine’s Day.

The athletically gifted pair were first linked last spring.
