Team Europe has done it again.

Europe has retained the Ryder Cup following a Shane Lowry putt in singles play Sunday.

The Americans staged an epic rally that fell short, giving Europe its second straight win after taking the Ryder Cup in Rome in 2023.

Team USA captain Keegan Bradley criticized the 'Envelope Rule" which came into play after Viktor Hovland pulled out of Sunday's match due to a neck issue.

“The rule has to change. It’s obvious to everybody in the sports world. Nothing against Viktor, but that rule has to change by the next Ryder Cup," Bradley said.

Following the Americans' defeat at Bethpage Black, Keegan Bradley said he would have set up the course at Bethpage Black differently if he could go back and do it all over again.

Bradley made the comment before acknowledging that Team Europe outplayed the U.S. for most of the Ryder Cup.

"I think I would have set the course up a little different. But I don't know, they played better than us," Bradley said. "They deserved to win. They're a great team. In my eyes, Luke Donald is the best European Ryder Cup captain of all time."

Shane Lowry expects 'nicer' reception at Ryder Cup 2027 in Ireland

Shane Lowry told NBC shortly after he secured Europe's possession of the Ryder Cup that he was looking forward to playing in the 2027 Ryder Cup, which will take place in Ireland, while seeming to take a shot at the American crowd at Bethpage.

"It'll be a little bit nicer than playing here, I know that," Lowry said, seeming to be remarking on the reception the Europeans received all weekend on Long Island.
