The 2025 Ryder Cup draws near.

Thursday is the final day of practice for USA and Europe. The Junior Ryder Cup will also be played on Thursday at Nassau country club.

After the 10-hole celebrity scramble, the main teams for USA and Europe will play practice rounds followed by the evening’s opening ceremony that was moved up due to rain in the forecast on Thursday.

The Ryder Cup pairings have been revealed.

U.S. captain Keegan Bradley will look to make the most of the home-course advantage at Bethpage Black by opening Friday’s foursomes session at the Ryder Cup (7:10 a.m.) with the uber-popular Bryson DeChambeau and outwardly emotional Justin Thomas taking on Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton, who went 2-0 as a foursomes duo during Europe’s 2023 triumph in Rome.

Rory McIlroy believes America is 'greatest country in the world'

By Rob Reese

In a touch of class, Rory McIlroy noted his affinity for the U.S. ahead of Friday's opening Ryder Cup round.

McIlroy said he's 'unbelievably lucky' to have gotten to come to America early on in his career.

This of course might not be the best thing for team Europe fans to hear, but it's refreshing to hear Rory's truth.

A clip has emerged of team USA fans heckling Matt Fitzpatrick in Wednesday's practice round. Fitzpatrick appeared to be practicing some unconventional chip shots, while onlookers yelled at him that "the green's that way."

It all leads to this.

All the hype. All the rhetoric. All the speculation about whether Keegan Bradley would not only captain the U.S. Ryder Cup team but play on it, too.It all leads to the first tee on Friday morning in what is going to be a Ryder Cup on steroids at Bethpage Black, a golf event larger than any the sport has ever seen.

Team Europe golfer reveals one Ryder Cup teammate has out-of-this-world interest in UFOs

By Christian Arnold

It sounds like a meme waiting to happen.

The bond between fellow Nordic golfers Viktor Hovland (Norway) and Ludvig Åberg (Sweden) has only blossomed since they were paired together during the 2023 Ryder Cup and dominated Americans Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka for the largest margin of victory in an 18-hole match on the Saturday of that competition.

But their friendship extends beyond the golf course, and their conversations can be, well, out of this world.

“He’s always into sort of the UFO deals and all those things, so it’s quite interesting,” Åberg said. “I’m not quite down that road just yet. If I hang out with him long enough, I might be. Again, you never really know where [the conversation is] going to go, which is quite interesting.”

Win or lose, Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald will leave their Ryder Cup imprints

By Mark Cannizzaro

Neither will play a single match this week in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.

But make no mistake: There’s competition between captains.

As much as this week is U.S. vs. Europe, it also is Keegan Bradley vs. Luke Donald.

I’ve covered the past 13 Ryder Cups for The Post, dating back to 1997 at Valderrama in Spain and, more often than not, the performance of captains comes into play, influencing the final result.

Ryder Cup captains — as much as Brian Daboll and Aaron Glenn or Aaron Boone and Carlos Mendoza — are subject to their share of second-guessing.

Ryder Cup captains will be scrutinized about their pairings, how their captain’s picks perform, how many matches certain players play and a litany of other issues.

“I believe the captain can make a difference,’’ Bradley said.
