A suicidal teen scaled a tower at the Chelsea Piers golf driving range Sunday evening — sparking a rescue operation lasting more than five hours, cops said. 

Police were notified around 5:30 p.m. that a 19-year-old man was at the top of the tower supporting the 160-foot netting at the fairway and threatened to jump, authorities said. 

By 9:45 p.m., NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit ascended the tower, harnessed the teen up and lowered him down to the ground. 

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital at 10:50 p.m. 

No criminality was immediately suspected and the teen didn’t face any charges by Monday morning.

A 160-foot-high net protects the golf club’s artificial turf fairway, which juts out 200 yards over the water and is about 40 yards wide, according to the golf outlet Morning Read.
