A cameraman apparently got a little too close for comfort while following Tiger Woods at the start of the PGA Championship on Thursday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
After Woods’ opening drive at Southern Hills Country Club, where he played alongside Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth, the golf legend asked a cameraman three times “to give [him] some breathing room” while he made his way down the fairway to his ball.
“Would you mind giving me some breathing space?” Woods asked. “Please?”
As Woods kept walking it appeared as though the camera operator wouldn’t budge, because Woods asked once more, “Would you mind giving me some breathing space, please?”
Things continued to get more awkward when Woods asked for a third time, “Could you back off a little bit and give me some breathing space? Back off a little bit and give me some breathing space!”
Woods went on to hit an impressive shot and birdied the hole. But he struggled much of the day, shooting 4-over 74.
