Tiger Woods’ win at the 2019 Masters was inspiring. His follow-up at the PGA Championship, less so.

And give him credit: he knew better. The same can’t be said for James Adducci, the bettor who won a modicum of infamy — and $1.275 million — placing $85,000 on Woods to win at Augusta. Adducci then tried to go even bigger with a $100,000 wager that Woods would win the next three majors, hoping for a $10 million payout.

As we all know now, that bet went up in flames before the weekend hit at Bethpage Black.

When a fan asked Woods, hitting range balls at Tiger Jam in Las Vegas, about Adducci’s initial gamble, he didn’t hold back.

“F–king great bet,” he said to raucous cheers. “Dumbass for the Grand Slam part, though.”

This is the greatest video I’ve ever seen. (Tiger says a naughty word too so heads up.) 🐅👀 (credit to Adam Weinraub on Insta.) pic.twitter.com/tNcVIwEHpP
