The Americans turned the booze into cheers.

At a raucous Ryder Cup, in which Team USA led 9-3 over Europe entering Saturday afternoon, a few Americans wanted to drink in the scene all around them.

Literally, of course.

Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger — neither of whom was set to play in the afternoon session and thus were in good spirits — reportedly tossed some beers into the crowd at Whistling Straits to rouse up some fans, who probably didn’t need the extra push.

A few beers were thrown back, though, and so Thomas and Berger scooped them up as the fans pleaded for two more drinking partners.

The Americans cheersed and chugged the beers, applause then turning to chants of “U! S! A!”
