He’s getting closer.
Tiger Woods put on an impressive display during a clinic at a junior golf event in the latest sign a return to the PGA Tour could be nearing. Woods left spectators in awe swinging his driver at full speed and carrying the ball 300 yards, according to a Golfweek Junior Tour’s account.

This lends credence to a report earlier in the week that Woods was back on the course playing four- and five-hour sessions and his return to competition was coming “sooner than expected.” Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, added a brakes-pump to the proceedings when he told ESPN: “Chatter is just that. Literally nothing new to report.”
Woods has not played in a PGA Tour since the Wyndham Championships last August while he recovers from multiple surgeries on his back. So, for now, let’s just enjoy these videos:
