Derrick Echols and Kevin White, Jr., were supposed to lead Grady into the PSAL playoffs in this, their senior seasons.

After four days of school, however, neither has shown up at the Coney Island school. Equally troubling is that while rumors of their transfers are rampant, they haven’t officially shown up anywhere else, either.

“I don’t know where they are,” said Grady head coach Mark Seltzberg, who said that as of yesterday, both were still registered at his school. “I’d like to find out what they’re doing.”

While the pair was expected by many to surface at Lincoln, sources at the school say that they are not there and that they don’t believe they will be able to transfer to the school located across the street from Grady.

Both players were seen at an AAU tournament on Sunday, playing with a team consisting mainly of Lincoln players.
