Yes, it was a trip. But this one seemed more innocent!

Grayson Allen was whistled, yet again, for tripping an opponent on Saturday. During Duke’s 72-64 win over Pittsburgh at Cameron Indoor, Jamel Artis drove down the lane and Allen was slow on help defense. The serial tripper struck again, with his foot getting tangled with Artis’, sending the Panther flying to the floor.

The foul appeared to come out of simply bad defense instead of malice, a nice change of pace for Allen. The Duke star has had suspiciously flailing limbs dating back to last year, even getting suspended for a game earlier this year by Mike Krzyzewski.

In Duke’s last game, it appeared Allen had graduated from tripping, instead with a wildly unneccesary foot stomp on Notre Dame’s Temple Gibbs. The Trip is back — and apparently cleaner than ever.
