The Houston Chronicle reports that attorney Rusty Hardin filed papers asking that he not be removed as Roger Clemens’ lawyer in a defamation lawsuit Clemens filed against former trainer Brian McNamee for claiming the pitcher abused steroids and hormones.
McNamee had asked the judge to remove Hardin from the case because Hardin once represented pitcher Andy Pettitte.
