She said yes!
On Tuesday, former Fox Sports personality Holly Sonders announced her engagement to sports bettor Vegas Dave — also known as Dave Oancea — sharing a photo of the proposal on Instagram, as well as a close-up shot of her engagement ring. We’re told Dave proposed at Playa Balandra in Mexico this week.
“I never thought this day would ever happen,” Oancea also shared on social media.
The engagement comes on the heels of a wild few weeks for the couple, which included a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and an evening out at jiggle joint Crazy Girls.
Sonders, 32, who is said to be working on an upcoming UFC series, divorced former Golf Channel co-host Erik Kuselias in 2016. She was linked to rookie Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury earlier this year.
It is unclear when the couple will tie the knot.
In January, Oancea pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor after originally facing 19 felonies for allegedly using other people’s social security accounts to open accounts at casinos. In May, he was ordered to stay out of Las Vegas sportsbooks for three years, and was tasked to complete community service, as well as gambling treatment.
“3.5 years ago I was indicted by the Federal Government for 19 alleged felonies and 40 years in prison,” Oancea tweeted at the time. “Today I walked out with zero felonies and a free man. God is Great.”
