The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary has come up with several new entries for its already wordy book, including “staycation” (staying home for a vaca tion). Up for consideration next year are “Argentina lay cation” (sneaking off to Argentina to have sex with a soul-mate) and “paycations” (when parents give a son’s mistress and her family $96,000 so they’ll shut up and go on some nice vacations). . . . Jim Leyritz broke down and cried in court Thursday when he found out he’d have to spend the weekend in jail.
