Let’s try to be understanding of the Harvard students under investigation in a cheating scandal that involved copying a take-home final for a course called “Introduction to Congress.” After all, it’s possible they merely were following the lead of the university’s commencement speaker last May, noted Time/CNN plagiarist Fareed Zakaria … Then again, given the name of the course, maybe it was the lingering influence of former Senator Ted Kennedy, who was booted from Harvard for cheating in 1951.
