Hondo’s bread on Fred
The Twins got Hondo’s day off to a sunny start yesterday, but it turned dismal last night when he stumbled with the Rays and Cardinals to raise the deficit to 1,385 cervs.
Today, Mr. Aitch is ready with Freddy against the Small Bears — 10 units on the Yankees.

One person who’s probably not all that happy about Anthony Weiner’s decision to quit Congress is his wife, Huma, who likely isn’t looking forward to seeing A-Wad dangling around the condo all day. In fact, Hondo’s incredible predictive powers enable him to reveal what will by heard at the Weiner household in the coming days: “Anthony, zip up!” “Anthony, put that damn camera away!” and “Get off the Internet, you nit-twit!” . . . Any day now look for the Miami Herald to run an ad congratulating Weiner for sticking to his gun and not quitting.
