Hondo made another minimal move on the deficit last night when he split with the Twins and O’s to trim the deficit ever so slightly to 1,455 triandoses.

Tonight, he’ll stick with the formerly hot Birds — 10 units on Guthrie to slay the Rays.

The Golf Channel’s Jim Gray, who threatened Corey Pavin this week, seems a whole lot tougher now than when he was working as LeBron James’ ESPN lapdog (aside, that is, from when he grilled LBJ about whether he still bites his nails) . . . Ollen the e- mailer says he was surprised that Frankie Rodriguez punched out his girlfriend’s father, since he hasn’t punched out a batter all year. . . . Word is KO-Rod was elated about getting out of jail so quickly. That’s because some of his fellow prisoners were starting to pressure him to join their team — as a catcher.
