The second game in this year’s battle for the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy is today, Nov. 1, when the Army Black Knights visit the Air Force Falcons.
Each year, the football teams of the United States Military Academy, United States Air Force Academy, and the US Naval Academy play each other in a three-game series; the winner is awarded the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy.
The first matchup of the series, Air Force vs. Navy, took place on Oct. 4; Navy won the close game, 34-31.
Navy currently holds the trophy from last year, while both teams today enter with losing records (Air Force is 2-5, while Army is 3-4).
