The Belichick era at UNC is off to a rough start, but the team has a chance to turn things around this afternoon against Charlotte.
In UNC’s season-opener, and Belichick’s first game as a collegiate head coach, the Tar Heels lost to the TCU Horned Frogs, 48-14.
UNC-Charlotte also dropped their season opener in a 34-11 loss to Appalachian State. Their starting quaterback, Conner Harrell, made his 49ers debut in the game after transferring from UNC; just two games into the season, he’ll face his former team.
