Whether it’s the ice roads in Alaska or Yonkers Raceway’s half-mile oval, Lisa Kelly knows how to drive.

Ice Road Truckers’ star Kelly, was a natural on the race track, jogging two standardbreds Saturday morning.

Trainers Dennis Laterza and Mike Forte provided Kelly with her mounts.

“Mike showed me how to hold the lines and how to steer the horse and Dennis said ‘You’re here for fun? Let’s do some fun stuff,’” said Kelly. “I’ve never done this before, but it was so much fun.”

Kelly, an Alaska native, only in New York a few days to promote the second season of the History Channel’s IRT: Deadliest Roads looks forward to returning to Yonkers maybe in the spring, when she hopes to jog a lot more horses and maybe even participate in a celebrity exhibition race.

“If you’re not wearing a helmet it ain’t dangerous enough,” she added.
