John Duddy might be one of the few Irishmen who isn’t looking forward to tomorrow’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

“I couldn’t care less,” the middleweight from Northern Ireland said of the most Irish of holidays. “I have other things on my mind.”

That’s because Duddy (15-0, 13 KOs) will headline a slate of fights at the Theater of Madison Square Garden that is being call “Irish Express.” Duddy’s opponent will be Shelby Pudwill (21-2-1) from North Dakota.

“They’ll be live and they’ll be happy,” Duddy (15-0) said of the sellout. “Especially when I have another win under my belt, they’ll really have something to cheer about.”
