It wasn’t all bad news yesterday for Hondo, who missed with the Flyers as well as with his exacta boxes in the sixth and seventh races at the Big M. However, Mr. Aitch caught a big break in the fifth when Sleek Runner scratched, so the debt increased only to 1,800 wambsgansses.

Tonight, he’ll get busy in the opener with a 10-unit play on CC and the Yanks. As for the Series, he’ll throw 20 units on the Bombers to bag No. 27.
