Jake Paul won a unanimous decision over Mike Tyson on Friday night — though you may have missed it.

The highly anticipated Netflix fight was marred by streaming issues throughout the night, but those who did get to see it saw Paul take control over the 58-year-old Tyson early and cruise to his 11th pro win.

While Tyson managed to win the first two rounds, Paul found his groove and landed a whopping 78 of his 278 thrown punches to just 18 of Tyson’s 97 attempts.

Still, the final rounds came with boos from the AT&T Stadium crowd, and neither combatant made much effort to do anything as the clock ran down on the two-minute rounds.

The judges scored the fight 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 for Paul, though it may not have even been that close.

Ryan Clark left struck by Mike Tyson’s ‘sad’ motivation behind Jake Paul fight

By Will Zimmerman

Mike Tyson wasn’t taking his fight with Jake Paul to add to his stats — neither the 44 knockouts nor the 50-6 record.

This wasn’t just about the $20 million payout either, though the lump sum is likely the most he’d ever earned for one fight.

Instead, Tyson, 58 and at least a decade past his prime, was squaring off against an internet sensation half his age, he said, so his children could see what he once was — could get a glimpse of one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport.

A fighter, Tyson knows, was before his children’s time.

Netflix has about six weeks to figure it out.

The streaming service’s first foray into airing a big live sporting event with Mike Tyson boxing Jake Paul on Friday night turned into a nightmare as Netflix did not have the requisite bandwidth and viewers were livid over buffering issues.

By Will Zimmerman

Antonio Brown: Man of the people.

That’s 7.6 million people, at least.

As buffering issues threw Netflix’s viewers of the Paul-Tyson fight into fury, the boxing world was placated by an X livestream from an unlikely hero from AT&T Stadium.

“CTESPN only place with the fight live,” Brown posted to X shortly before 11 p.m. on Friday evening.

His post, which included a link to his livestream, picked up Herculean traction — the kind of traction that, on Netflix, was leading to abysmal quality and, at points, the total loss of signal for viewers.

As Jake Paul’s bout against Mike Tyson dawdled on into the wee hours of Saturday morning, the internet came aflame with accusations that the YouTuber-turned-boxer was stringing the fight along.

Though Paul, 27, won Friday night’s marquee contest by unanimous decision at AT&T Stadium, there’s been no shortage of chatter contending that he could have knocked down Iron Mike, 58, long before the bell rang on the eighth and final round.

Tyson-Paul was not an easy watch

By Michael Blinn

While plenty of views struggled to see the fight due to Netflix streaming issues, plenty more struggled to actually watch it.

The sight of the 58-year-old Tyson struggling to keep his legs under him as the fight went on was too much to stomach for some, including the likes of Magic Johnson.

"Just sad smh. I cut it off because I couldn’t watch anymore," the Lakers legend wrote on X. "It’s sad to see Mike Tyson like this because I went to every Tyson fight.

"This fight tonight was not great for boxing."

Will Mike Tyson take on another Paul brother?

By Michael Blinn

Mike Tyson may be done with Jake Paul, but that didn't stop him from -- very unofficially -- challenging Logan Paul during his post-fight interview.

The elder Paul sibling, standing next to his victorious brother, didn't exactly mince his words.

“F–k, I’ll kill you Mike,” Logan said with a cocked eyebrow.

Mike Tyson jokes about ‘biting fixation’ after Jake Paul fight reveals glove habit

By Michael Blinn

Mike Tyson may have lost, but at least he kept his sense of humor.

After his unanimous decision loss to Jake Paul on Friday night, Tyson was asked by ring reporter Ariel Helwani about his habit of biting his boxing glove, which caught the eye of many watching the highly anticipated Netflix fight.

“I have a habit of biting my glove, yes,” he said. “I have a biting fixation.”

The post-fight jab drew some uncomfortable chuckles, as it was a clear reference to his 1997 bout rematch with Evander Holyfield, which ended in bizarre fashion as Tyson bit off a part of Holyfield’s ear.

Jake Paul asserts his boxing dominance with win over Mike Tyson in Netflix spectacle

By Jared Schwartz

ARLINGTON, Texas — Mike Tyson showed his bare buttocks while being interviewed on the Netflix live stream before the bout.

It’s fitting, because he subsequently made an ass of himself when he got in the ring.

Tyson was washed up in 2005.

In 2024, he’s just embarrassing himself.

Paul wins by unanimous decision

By Michael Blinn

Anyone surprised by the outcome -- Paul winning a unanimous decision over Tyson -- was probably unable to watch the fight due to the many issues with the Netflix stream.

Tyson appeared to win the first two rounds, but from there, it was all Paul, who cruised to a victory, with the final few frames drawing boos from the crowd as neither boxer seemed like they wanted to do much of anything.

Fight ends

By Jared Schwartz

It's over, and it ended with fans booing the lack of action.

We got to the scorecards, though it would be shocking if Jake Paul does not win.

Round 6

By Jared Schwartz

Fans started booing with how little activity there was.

Jake Paul has the upper hand, but there is very little action.
