That’s one way to distract someone.

Jalen Ramsey revealed this week on the “Bussin With The Boys” podcast that while playing cornerback at Florida State, he would slide into the DMs of his opponents’ girlfriends ahead of a game.

“Say I was playing a big receiver at whatever school, I would look up his Instagram and see his girlfriend, whatever, I’d probably slide in the DMs,” the Jaguars star said, adding that whether the player knew about the private message or not, he would bring it up during the game.

“Like, ‘Yeah, you know, I slid in, first-name basis, DMs. She hollerin’,” Ramsey continued.

Ramsey, who was selected fifth overall by Jacksonville in the 2016 NFL Draft, also said that he quit playing social media mind games once he got to the NFL.

“When I got to the league, though, I stopped that ’cause now people got wives and stuff,” he said. “Somebody get shot over talking about somebody’s wives.”

As for Ramsey’s recent trash-talking methods, GQ interviews seem to be one of the ways to go.
