When and where is the 2023 Kentucky Derby?

The Kentucky Derby takes place in Louisville, Kentucky at the famous Churchill Downs racetrack on Saturday, May 6th, 2023.

What time does the race start?

19 contestants will move to the starting lines in this years race, which is projected to begin at 6:57 p.m. and conclude around 7 p.m. ET.

The doors open to the public at 9 a.m. ET. and should feature dozens of high profile celebrities in attendance.
