The Knicks have signed a fourth point guard – Brooklyn’s Ed Cota.

The Post has learned Cota, the former North Carolina star, has accepted an invitation to Monday’s training camp. However, unless Mark Jackson, Charlie Ward or Howard Eisley get traded, Cota doesn’t stand a chance of making the club.

Cota, who attended Tilden High, led the ACC in assists for four straight years – a first in conference history. He graduated in 2000 and played last season in the CBA for the Gary, Ind., franchise, averaging 11.8 points.

After Monday’s meetings, the Knicks travel to Charleston for their first practice Tuesday.
