MSG Network earned its highest Knicks’ rating since Michael Jordan made his second return to the NBA in 2001.

Wednesday night’s Knicks-Celtics thriller scored a 3.61 rating (equivalent to 271,303 homes). That was the most since Jordan joined the Wizards for the 2001 season and MSG earned a 4.76 rating in the Knicks opener against Washington on Oct. 31. The network may not have to wait as long to equal this number with LeBron James and the Heat coming to the Garden on Friday night.

The game, which the Knicks lost 118-116, was also broadcast on ESPN and combined with MSG the rating was a 6.27.
